Experiences Overview
Below are the people/businesses I have worked with and produced content for. All work for these companies/people can be found in my portfolio.
BRITISH ESPORTS Federation
Formerly a voluteer video editor; I worked full-time at the British Esports association as their Video Content Executive. I primarily produced, recorded and edited video content for our social channels and other partners. I also hosted ‘Fun Fridays’, a community stream run on Twitch.
Esports insider
I worked on a freelance basis with ESI to record and edit evergreen content for their YouTube channel. I also edit the Industry Podcast when needed.
Nick ‘LS’ De Cesare
I work with LS to create his Patreon tierlists. I am also a moderator of his Twitch channel and used to create semi-regular Photoshop content for him (memes, twitter graphics etc).
Heckmondwike Hotshots
I co-founded Heckmondwike Grammar School’s first esports club and team: Heckmondwike Hotshots. We hosted in-house Smash Bros. tournaments (some of which I produced and streamed live) and competed in the 2019/2020 season of the British Esports Championships with a League of Legends team. The team reached the playoff stage but lost to the eventual winners of the entire tournament.
Featherstone force
During my employment at The Featherstone Academy, I founded the schools first esports club and team: Featherstone Force. We competed in the British Esports Championships. The success of the club led to me leading resilience lessons/sessions during school hours for a group of 25/30 students where I taught them about different aspects of esports.
BBQ OLIVers
I worked with Nick ‘LS’ De Cesare and Jamie McDaniel to design the Korean League of Legends team’s player jerseys.
CRONUS
I volunteered for Cronus as their CSGO main and academy team manager. I worked with the players to schedule games, organise practice and perform other admin work.
IKEA
I worked at IKEA as a sales coworker in the bedrooms department. Our managers were asked to produce a welcome video for new starters/recruits and so I volunteered to direct, film, star and edit. This video was distributed to the IKEA Leeds store management and passed on to the new starters. I also produced an ‘end of financial year’ video for the department that was used in a team meeting and seen by store management.
TEAM GHOST
Team Ghost was a company owned by myself and a close friend. I was the head of media (which lead to me managing our Twitter account as well as editing and producing videos) as well as part owner. All videos we created went on our YouTube channel.
EPIPHANY BOLT
I volunteered for a period of time as Epiphany Bolt's head editor and worked with their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team to create highlight and montage videos. This involved 'filming' the matches themselves using VODs provided by the team/match organisers on top of the usual editing process. The videos would be uploaded to their YouTube channel.
